Ever find yourself rushing to get out the door so you can squeeze in a quick workout when your day is packed? You know you need to eat something quickly so you don’t exercise on an empty stomach but there is nothing that you can grab that is healthy and will hold your hunger at bay. That is when I reach for these amazing energy balls. I discovered them at my local gym when they had not more muffins left and the guy at the counter suggested I try their energy balls. I was skeptical, but he assured me I would love them. I did. So much so that I decided I needed to make them at home instead of shelling out $5 for four balls.
Now I make sure that I have a container sitting in the fridge at all times. I’m sharing this recipe with you but keep in mind that it is a versatile recipe that can be altered to suit your tastes. The peanut butter can be replaced with other nut butters, you can replace the chocolate chips for white chocolate chips as well.
They are delicious and keep away hunger pangs while you sweat it out.
